member ID (e-mail address entered in registration) and we will email your password.
How do I order a course?
Click on the "Courses" button to view a listing of our currently offered courses. Choose which
course you want to purchase and click” add to shopping cart”. Verify the course title is correct in
your shopping cart and if you wish to purchase another course click “continue shopping”. If not,
click “checkout”. If you have purchased online from us before, please enter your email and
password and login. Print a copy of the orders list for your record. Click the "buy" button. You
will then be required to enter your credit card information. After you fill in your payment
information click "submit transaction". If you have never purchased before, click the "register
now" button and fill out your customer details. Click the "register" button. Print a copy of the
orders list for your record. Click the "buy" button. Fill out your payment information and
click "submit transaction". Go to "My Courses" to view the course and test. All courses must be
completed online. CES does not mail courses to students.
Are your courses accredited for dental assistants, dental hygienists and dentists?
Yes.
Who accredits your courses?
CES courses are accepted in the following states including those that recognize the Academy of
General Dentistry National PACE Provider program: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, DE, FL (Provider #50-
11992), GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY (Category C), LA, MA, ME (Category II), MD, MI, MN, MO, MS,
MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NV (Anthrax course not approved in Nevada), OH, OK, OR, PA,
RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV.
Pending approval in all other states that require CE credits.
Courses are preapproved by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) for recertification
credits for dental assistants. DANB approval indicates that a continuing education course
appears to meet certain specifications as described in DANB Recertification Guidelines. DANB
does not, however, endorse or recommend any particular continuing education course and is
not responsible for the quality or any course content.
Students should contact their State Dental Board in the state in which you are licensed to verify
specific requirements for relicensure. Some states have restrictions on the number of CE credits
that may be earned through self-instructional home study.
What if I am disconnected during the ordering process?
If you are in the middle of taking a test and you get disconnected you will need to log back in and
click on “begin test” to continue. You will need to re-enter your answers.
If you were in the middle of ordering a test and you entered your credit card details, log back in
and go to "My Courses" to see if the order was processed. If you do not see your current order
click on "Courses" to re-order.
Is there a time limit for completing these courses?
No.
Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied with the course?
Yes. All our courses are offered with a 100% money-back guarantee. You may request and will
receive a refund at any time prior to the issuance of your certificate. Once a certificate has been
issued to a participant, refunds are not available.
If I reside outside the United States can I still take these courses?
Yes. Due to our status as an approved provider of the Academy of General Dentistry, many
countries accept our courses. Students are advised to check with their dental licensing boards
prior to taking any course to verify approval.
Are there any taxes or shipping charges on my order?
No. Since all courses are completed online, there are no additional charges associated with
your purchase.

Once you log in, click on "My Courses"
to view any previous courses you have taken.

How often do you add new courses?
CES produces 4 to 6 new courses each year. You will receive an email notification that a new
course is available. If you have opted out of receiving notification of new courses and special
offers from CES, please visit our website each month.
What forms of payment do you accept?

Is my credit card information secure?
Yes. Payment information is encrypted using 128-bit SSL technology and sent to an
Authorize.Net transaction secure server. This company uses the latest state-of-the-art
encryption technology. The encryption ensures that the information cannot be read or altered by
anyone intercepting it. CES does not retain a record of your credit card number.
Some of my personal information has changed since I last ordered a course; how can I update
this?
Once you have logged in click on the “My Account” button and change any customer details
necessary. Click “save changes”.
What is the passing grade for an exam?
You must pass the test with a score of 70 points or better. If you do not receive a passing grade
you may retake the test at any time by returning to the "My Courses" page.
When will I receive my certificate of completion?
After successful compeltion of the course you may view and print out a copy of the certificate. Go
to "My Courses" and click on "view certificate" for the corresponding course.
